All I want for Christmas. . .

All I Want for Christmas
Is My Two Front Teeth

Everybody stops
and stares at me
These two teeth are
gone as you can see

I don’t know just who
to blame for this catastrophe!
But my one wish on Christmas Eve
is as plain as it can be!

All I want for Christmas
is my two front teeth,
my two front teeth,
see my two front teeth!

Gee, if I could only
have my two front teeth,
then I could with you
“Merry Chrithmath.”

It seems so long since I could say,
“Sister Susie sitting on a thistle!”
Gosh oh gee, how happy I’d be,
if I could only whistle (thhhh)

All I want for Christmas
is my two front teeth,
my two front teeth,
see my two front teeth.

Gee, if I could only
have my two front teeth,
then I could with you
“Merry Chrithmath.”

  1. We love it!!!!! :rotfl
Oh I do remember those days. My tongue could not figure out what happened, but my front top gums were glad the loose teeth were gone. Here’s to you, Jessica. :flowers

  2. All Julian wishes for is “My four front teeth…” 😉

  3. Poor Julian, having your four front teeth, pieces of your four front teeth, pieces of bones and roots from your four front teeth, pulled out from a horrible teeter-totter accident is NOT the fun way to have a toothless Christmas. :eek

  4. Jessica’s got hurried along a bit. They were starting to get wiggly and then on Thanksgiving her and Lydia were playing in the backyard. Lydia jumped on her and knocked them real loose. It was quite a bloody mess. I have blood spatters all over my back porch step. They bled in the night and her mouth looked quite awful. She was very miserable.

Friday evening the kids were jumping around and one of the teeth fell out! She wouldn’t let us touch them.

Monday she went to school and the other one started bleeding, so she went to the nurses office. The nurse told her that she was just going to touch it, but she pulled it out instead!!!! Jessica said she was surprised that the nurse lied to her. I told her that the nurse, Miss Myra, was just trying to help relieve her misery without scaring her!!!

  5. This is a cute post.

The song isn’t as irritating as it was last night when I was really tired. :love

  6. How cute, we all go thru this, just not quite like you and Julian. :cry Your still very pretty. That tooth fairy better be good to the two of you. Just as mama said, the nurse was trying to be nice and help. It’s always best if their out instead of loose. Love ya Jessica.

  7. How cute! She looks great without her teeth. I’m glad for you, Jules! I know that those teeth were really bothering you.

    What a great nurse.

We need to get her and Julian together for a picture.

  8. Finally!!! Bet you’re thrilled Julie! The comment about Julian made me really sad…I feel for the poor guy, the whole incident sounded terrible.

  9. awww, that’s an adorable pic!

  10. Love the post Julie & the song. I was hoping for an animated sound on the talking Christmas tree too, but guess that is a whole set of other electronics puzzles.
Jessica is just as pretty as before. What precious children you have. In fact I think our whole family is full of precious & beautiful & handsome children.

  11. Julie, your meatball recipe you gave me for our young people’s meeting came out tasting sooo good. We had only three that dared the cold. :banghead
Two out of three did not like onions in the meatballs and I looked at them thinking;you poor people. How can you not like onions in your pizza, meatloaf, spaghetti etc. :fish :fish

  12. I am glad they came out good!

The kids aren’t onion fans either, but I still use them. I buy the kind that come in a jar, minced and dehydrated. I add a tablespoon or so to recipes that call for onion. I get the taste of onion in the food, without the onions being very visible. They don’t complain if they can’t see them. :evil

  13. Oh yes, a very dear friend of mine spent the day making homemade cinnamon rolls for the dessert. Her grandson (who lives close and said he was coming) forgot to stop by. So between her and I we tried to figure how to get them to our house which is seven miles away. To make a long story short, the rolls make it here. :indeed. I’ll be taking Julie some rolls today. 😀

  14. Oh my goodness!!! I can’t wait! Her cinnamon rolls are by far the best I’ve ever had! My mouth is watering! 😀

  15. I haven’t had breakfast yet!

    Let’s have ’em!

  16. Hehe. :rotfl I’ll be on my way soon!!!

  17. Karen, when I as in the forth grade I did the same thing to the smartest girl in the class. I was the new girl in the class that just arrived. I felt so bad!! :cry She never held it against me.

  18. Julie,
I sent you an e-mail to
Have you gotten it? If not, I can give you a
call to ask ya what I did in the e-mail.

  19. To: Mom D. I must have missed something, what did you do to the girl in the 4th grade. Knock her teeth out? Just curious. Those cinnamon rolls sure sound good, to bad you’re so far away Julie or I’d be right in-between you and James. A cup of coffee would be nice too. :cool :evil :cool

  20. To: Aunt Marilyn. Yes I forgot to say that I did the same thing on a teeter-totter. I hit the ground really hard when it was my turn. Her head came forward and in those days the bars were made out of steal. For years we could see her teeth marks on the bars. By the way it’s nice to”talk” to you. :indeed

  21. I know this picture was 2 years ago, but I can honestly say you daughter is the cutest snaggletoothed kid I have seen all week. I am the marketing manager at a credit union in Alabama. I have been searching for a child missing their two front teeth all week on image sites and just typed it in on Google (that is how I saw this picture). We are running a loan special with the headline of “All I want for Christmas is _____” I sure wish this picture was high resolution and on an image site! Have a great day.

  22. Ahhhh. . . thanks. It would be awesome if you could use her cute little mug shot!
