My Lydia Grace turned 10 on Sunday!

Lydia wasn’t feeling well. I took her to the doc today. They did x-rays of her abdomen and couldn’t find any problems, so she’s on medicine to help with her stomach pain and nausea. Hopefully she’ll be able to go to school and enjoy her day tomorrow.

  1. Oh no! I’m sorry that Lydia is still not feeling well. That’s too bad. Did she feel okay on her birthday celebration with her friend? Did she get to go shopping?

You are gonna have to come over and check out my dining room sometime soon!

  2. CJ spent Friday and Saturday with Lydia. They had a great time. I gave both of them some spending money and they had a BLAST shopping. Nearly everything they bought was on sale!! The truck stop has their webkinz marked down!! It was really fun for me. They were so cute. I took them to lunch. Lydia barely ate. She wasn’t feeling well but she had a good time anyway. Sunday she was pretty miserable. We made her a bed of coats, on the floor, behind the Buzz store, during children’s church. James and I were busy helping.

I need to come see your bedroom and your dining room!!!!!! I LOVE that rug!!

  3. Happy Birthday to Lydia! Hope she’s feeling better soon!

I felt sick on my Birthday a couple weeks ago too… But that was just because I was feeling depressed about turning 31…

I’m really having problems keeping up with all these birthdays. HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY, LYDIA. Hope you are feeling better now.

Lydia, the dog and the fire sure make for a cozy scene.

  6. I’m like Punkie, can’t keep up with all the kiddo’s. We’re getting to be a big family.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY LYDIA. Sorry you did not feel real chipper. What comfort, a fire and comfy pillow..

  7. Happy Belated BIRTHDAY Lydia:
I am sorry it is late.
You are a sweet young girl!

OH Tell your mom to change my link site hee hee heee

  8. Happy Birthday, Angela! The 30’s are great, so just relax! hehe!

Aunties, it’s impossible to keep up – there’s too many of us. Our family has no trouble populating the earth!!!!! The more of us there are the better – right?! hehe!

Kandi, I forgot to change your link! I love you new blog name!

  9. Happy birthday, Lydia. It looks like Buddy is enjoying snuggling with you!

  10. Buddy is definitely part of the family. He’s a big baby. We call him Budster Baxter. We love having a big doggy!

  11. Happy Birthday, Lydia! Hope you’re feeling better by now–I’m late in catching up with all the blogs. Looks like you have a nice dog pillow there. Our 2 hyper dogs would NEVER lay still like that.

I didn’t realize April was such a big birthday month for our family.

  12. Debbie, I bet you’re dying to get out of town. The last little bit of waiting and preparation is a killer! Hang in there. You’ll be relaxing without a chore in sight soon!

  13. Happy Late Birthday Lydia! Hope she is feeling better.

  14. Yes, we can’t wait! Thanks for the encouragement, Julie–these last few days are difficult. I have lots of lists running through my head of things I need to take care of before we leave. I about drove my guys crazy yesterday–I got a case of the grumpies, which makes them all scatter! But they brought me back some pretty flowers after their walk to the river so guess I’m forgiven!

I’m so glad y’all are getting here before we leave! I’m looking forward to seeing you (1 day is better than nothing!)

  15. The last few days before a get-away is sooooooooo hard. There’s so much to think about and get done and all you want is OUT OF TOWN!!!! I think feeling grumpy is normal. When James and I are trying to get away I want to check out before everything’s done. It’s sooooooo hard to wait for sweet freedom!

I am so glad I’m going to get to see you!!!! I was disappointed I wouldn’t get to see you while I’m down!

Steve won’t have any trouble getting readers for Christian’s cross over.

  17. I’m so glad you had a nice birthday despite the illness. I too need to do a new calendar with all the birthdays on it. Deb did one a while back but I’m not sure where mine is. Kathy’s is on the fridge. Can’t wait to see ya’s.

  18. Glad you made it home in the storm. God is Good!
I’m sure you got lots of hugs and kisses!

  19. I made it home at 9:30 last night! Almost 14 hours on the road! It feels good to be home and to get to hug the girls and pet the critters! Oh, and it was wonderful to see James, too!!! There’s no place like home, but I miss everyone soooooo much. I’ve been getting out my treasures from my trip. I’ve already put Aunt Kathy’s painting up. I am so happy to have some of her artwork to join Tootsie’s. Y’all can decorate my whole house for me!!!!! Aunt Kelli, your home is a wonderful home away from home. I loved sitting at your kitchen table day after day and listening to all the conversations. It was truly a get away that I desperately needed. I know God provided this trip for me at just the right time. I can’t wait to come back and sit at your table some more. You and Alex have a very strong hospitality gift. Thank you , thank you, thank you. I love you Grandma! I want one of those little donkeys now, too. Guess someday I’m going to need to move to the country and get me a goat and a donkey. Love ya.

  20. I guess you mean the donkeys in the field we pass on the way to town. Al calls them Ermal and Vera.
    So cute

  21. I loved witnessing Christian’s cross over. That was really awesome!!! It was fun watching y’all read. I’m glad I didn’t fall too badly in front of everyone. hehe!

  22. KELLI!!! Hi! We’re on at the same time!!! Yes, those two little donkeys are sooooooooo cute!!! I love the names Alex gave them. He’s hilarious!! I’ll think of him everytime I see Blue Bell ice cream!!!!

Jules, so glad you made it home last night ok. Didn’t realize you’d be having trouble in the rain. We did rack up a lot of memories this past week, didn’t we.

Thanks again Kelli, for you and Alex’s hospitality, it is truly a gift. You never seem to be disturbed no matter how many people are there. Love to all my family.

  24. Jules, where are you? I enjoyed our trip. Hope you did too.

You promised to post a new blog about something but I forgot what it was now. Love ya, looking forward to seeing you next week-end.

  30. Thanks to all for dropping by. I need to take the time to sit down and blog. It’s been very busy around here with end of the year school activities and softball games every evening. The kids got out of school this week and we’ve been busy shopping and packing for camp. Lydia and Jessica leave on Sunday.

Aunt Kathy, I loved our visits and miss you. I’m glad I’ll be seeing you soon.

Aunt Kelli I miss you and your home.

I’m glad I get to see family soon!

I was just kidding you above, I know you moms are busy. Hope the girls have loads of fun at camp. Great place to make lasting friendships.

I went to listen to the Ball Brothers this morning at the Anchor Fest. Love their So. Gospel music. They were all pretty young and I kept thinking that my grandsons are going to be this big someday.
