Happy birthday, Mom!

Mom and Larry live on my Great Grandpa’s farm. Nearly everytime we visit Larrry ends up taking the kids for a wagon ride with the tractor. He was hauling stuff around the yard last time we were there. Next thing I knew the kids were loaded up and he was driving them around the farm!

Snow doesn’t stop the tractor rides!

Sometimes Mom even gets a ride!

And sometimes she can’t resist getting behind the wheel!

I’m sad that it’s possible for us to travel (now that the kids are older) and I can’t go visit Grandma. I wish I could’ve seen her more. Mom is a talented seamstress like Grandma.

Happy Birthday, Mom!

    POEM

    The winds turn my page
as I’m in the progress of writing.
I slowly move my pencil down my paper.
One by one words are written on a line.

    written this morning by Lydia

Your welcome Marlis, enjoyed having you here. Won’t be to long and you won’t have to be rushing home to meet Ian. He will soon be able to stay by himself for a while. He is growing into a handsome guy.

Oops! Marlis didn’t make that last comment, I did. I forgot to check the name box and change it back to mine.

We had a good ole time together. Dinner was a lil wanting, as the resturant had some electrical problems before we got there and our Baked Potatoes were cold. I got mine heated up, I wasn’t going to eat a cold potato.

Had a good time pokin thur the Antique stores but didn’t find much we really needed. I found some crochet thread for more dishrags.

What a great post! I’ve enjoyed Larry’s rides around the farm too. I love the pic of Larry and Nita at the top.

It was our Lydia Grace. She LOVES writing. She has a huge passion for it and illustrating. She writes stories every day. Her room is always covered in papers. Sometimes the kitchen and living room end up covered in papers, too.
