i really did rip my pants!

Not long ago, I posted a thread called, I Think I Ripped My Pants!. This….. is the sequel.

Today was a beautiful day and I took the girls for a 2 1/2 hour outing to the park while James and Anjelia stayed home and napped. I swang on three sets of swings in three different playgrounds. I love to swing! We did a lot of walking around and the town park was busy.

On the walk home, I went to put my hand in my back pocket. I was horrified when I realized I had a huge, four inch rip in the back of my Levis! My shirt would not cover it and I had to call James to come pick me up!! No way was I going to walk through traffic like that!! It must have been quite a sight while I was swinging!!! This time, I really did rip my pants!!

No Karen, I didn’t feel a breeze!!!

I also want women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety….

  1. Your going to have to train the girls to check on you, while you play with them.

  2. Hehe! I remember when Julie and I were at a fast food restaurant years ago and she needed to use the bathroom. When she came out she had a long trail of toilet paper stuck in her backside at least six feet long. She is so much fun!!! Others in the restaurant as well as I could not help but laugh.

  3. I remember that! I couldn’t figure out why a group of old ladies were giggling!

  4. Too funny! Can’t believe you didn’t feel a breeze though…it was slightly chilly yesterday! Maybe your keister was numb from all that swinging.

  5. They have put new swings in the park that are awesome. They swing so smoothly that you feel like you are gliding through the air!! They don’t squeak or make any noise.

I can only hope that the tear happened toward the end of our outing, but there is no way to be sure when it happened! It probably started out small and grew!

  6. Did James laugh or was he still too sickly to find the humor in it?

  7. I had Anjelia’s afghan wrapped around me. He was anxious for me to take it off so he could see the show. He snickered. It probably would’ve been funnier to him if he’d have felt better.

The girls got some giggles over it! I think they sympathized with me too.

  8. Do you mind if I interrupt with a prayer request for Mom’s back? While Mom and Dad were driving here on Saturday, Mom started getting back spasms (she gets that periodically). She’s been laid up since (4 days). She’s gone to my chiropractor twice, but is still hurting A LOT. Thanks!

  9. Your not interrupting.

Thank you for letting us know. Please say a pray for my Aunt. These spasms sound horrible and they are out of state visiting family.

Lord God, please bring your healing touch to Aunt Marilyn’s back. May these spasms stop and never return. Thank you for your healing. In Jesus’ name we pray.

  10. Update: Praises to God–He heard and answered us. Mom is doing SO much better today. She actually felt like getting out of bed and going to visit Gma Vera today! Thank you for praying!

  11. I’m glad to hear that. I have been wondering how she was doing. I hope the rest of her visit is complete bliss. May it be so.

  12. Thank you all for your prayers. He heard them all and I didn’t miss anything. The trip home was much better than the trip to Tenn.

  13. We’ll keep praying for ya.
