i think i ripped my pants!

oops!

Jessica can’t wait to get home from school each day to watch her favorite cartoon, Spongebob Squarepants. It’s an outrageously wierd show about a sponge that lives in a pineapple under the sea. I think it’s the best thing to come along since Bugs Bunny. In one of the episodes, Spongebob bends over and rips his pants and everyone laughs. He loves the attention and decides to make “I ripped my pants” his punchline for everything. At the end of the episode he sings this SONG.

“I ripped my pants” has become a family chant. It’s actually quite entertaining. For example, tonight I was trying to get the kids settled in their beds and I was getting firm with them about going to sleep. Lydia very thoughtfully and sweetly says “Mommy come here, I need to talk to you about something”. Without missing a beat, she says very seriously, “I think I ripped my pants!”. Even my three year old has joined in and thinks it’s great fun to tease me with this silly one liner!

“Happiness is like peeing in your pants. Everyone can see it, but only you can feel it.”

    Too funny!

Yesterday we went to the bank. They no longer give out suckers, but stickers. We received two spongebog stickers that were hilarious. One said “I’m so excited I can’t shut my mouth!”. That was the one liner of the day at our house.
Julian was constantly wandering around with his mouth wide open saying the phrase. (except he can’t say “excited” he says “excitic”.

I LOVE Spongebob Squarepants! I used to make fun of it until I sat down to watch it and once I did I became hooked! The humor is right up my alley! The episode where Mr. Crabs is running around “nude” and they shoot clothes at him with a cannon, thus clothing him with a brassiere is one of the best! Great show!

One liner!!! Thanks Karen, I knew there was a common phrase that described a funny punchline. Gee, my brain is still shorting out. The darn chiroprator hasn’t fixed that yet!

    I am smart…I am intelligent…I am witty…I am bright…I am ingenious…

Name it and claim it mentality…it’s worth a try!!!!

Sounds like never a dull moment at your house. Gil bent over at a basket ball game when I was dating him, he was referring a kids b.b.game and was getting ready for a jump ball, when rip! He dissapeared into the dressing room as soon as he could at end of the half & was trying to fix his pants. They called his name to introduce the helpers and he couldn’t come out. Some how he gathered enough pins to get him to the end of the game.

Ah, I do remember Gil running in his panty hose now, but can’t remember what story you all are talking about. He wore Qsize. He didn’t want much on his legs so the hose were about the right thickness, and they were BLACK ones. Cute too. I haven’t been back to this site for a while, I guess you can tell.
