I wouldn’t want to clean up his poop!
Is that for real?????? I think I want it too!!!!
He weighs in at 22 pounds and measures a little over 3 feet. He is a breed of rabbit called german giant (how appropriate!). This is his owner, Hans Wagner, struggling to hold him up. From the NY Post article:
‘We don’t feed him an unusual diet said Wagner. He goes through more than his brothers and sisters, but he eats the same food mix. His favorite food is actually lettuce. He can never get enough of it.”
Ashley, feeding him and cleaning up after him would be the only downside. Well, that and how do you cage this guy? I don’t think Rosie’s bunny pen would do it!!
I’m with Ashley. Poop duty would require a small shovel!
No doubt he would make quite a large pile of pills! I don’t think Rosie’s kitty litter box would do for a litter box. He’d have to have a big plastic storage container!
I believe the largest rabbit on record is 26 lbs, so Herman isn’t too far off.
This picture is shot from a camera angle that makes Herman looks extra big.
Good GRIEF look at those thumpers. I’d hate for him to kick. He’s so big he is not cute. Well, maybe a little.
That’s a little scary. He’s so cute, but can you imagine him nipping at you?
Surely Herman would never nip.
THAT is a BIG RABBIT!!!!! I don’t want any part of him. But it would be interesting to see him in person. YOU ALL HAVE A WONDERFUL EASTER.
OH, come on, Aunt Marilyn, you’ve got a big basement to keep a Herman of your very own!
That thing wouldn’t lay pellets – it would be more like cadberry eggs!!!
Jules, I missed doing eggs with you all….we havent done any yet and its getting really late.
Hope you guys have a great Easter!!!
I don’t know how Herman and Gil would do down in the basement together. I’d have to get rid of all my junk so he’d have room. Think I’ll keep my junk.
He looks adorable. He would be sweet to cuddle with.
I want one.
Now thats a Rabbit!!!
Jules, I hope James is feeling much better now. The pollen is awful already. Are the girls on spring break now? Ian is this week.
Well…why not? He would fit in nicely with your new little zoo I think-ha!
Is that Rabbit real? Like alive?
Yes, it’s real! I checked it out for legitimacy.
Tell Jessica Faith “Happy Birthday” tomorrow from me (her birthday twin!) I don’t see her enough for her to remember who I am, but I sure remember her! And I’ll never forget the freezing cold swimming party we had to celebrate her adoption! What a joy that was–even the cold water!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESSICA, and many many more.
Wow What a Rabbit! I did not know they got that big. He could seriously dig into your flesh with those feet! I like the cadbury egg thought Almost as big as a kangaroo!
A little old man or a giant rabbit?
