Mother’s Day out christmas program

Jules —  December 20, 2005

It’s so hard to get good pictures while they’re on stage. Afterwards, we had a cookie and punch reception and I snapped a few shots. Elaina was very excited about the program and even more excited to get to sit on Santa’s lap. Elaina sees the world as her playground. James and I don’t think she’s going to grow up. One day she’s going to turn into a fairy, sprout wings and flutter away!!! She’s such a Tink!

Anjelia loved wandering around at the front of the stage, shaking her jingle bells. It was a proud moment for James and I.

  1. Great pix! I love that your kiddos are always willing to strike a pose!

  2. Great pictures, wonderful evening and beautiful memories. 😉 What more do ya need?

  3. Great pictures…and I loved the sledding ones, too. Your family is so cute, Julie.

Maybe we can come there sometime for sledding…the boys would LOVE it! We don’t get much snow here.

  4. Just so you all know…Mom and Dad made it here tonite. They’re staying at Kelli’s for a few days with Gma Vera as Kelli and Alex have gone to Texas. Mom developed one of her bad back spasms about an hour before they got to town so please pray for her. She feels quite discouraged when these hit during one of our visits.

  5. Oh I’m sorry to hear that. I will be praying for her today. Lord God, touch Punky’s back and take away this painful spasm. :worship

  6. Thanks for letting us know Debbie, that sis made it in. I was wandering and was going to email you or call to see today. I hate it that she gets these back aches. There should be some way the doctors could help.

I wish I could go sledding too. Been years since I have. With these hills here I guess I just need to get out there with my neighbors.

  7. Thanks for your prayers, I slept all night, which is a good sign, and felt good today. The back spasms never go away this fast. The only thing that helps is sleeping pills & Prayers. I also wish I could see in side my back and see what is going on.

  8. Sarah and I always sit together and look at the pictures, we love it. Long distance cousins.
One more day and we are headed to New York to start our Christmas vacation! I am so excited, it has been a trying week at work, noone enjoys being at the hospital right before Christmas. I can’t believe how people just want to get out and finish shopping, get ready for family meals- right in the middle of having a heart attack. Just coming into the recovery room, saying “I gotta go, I don’t have time for this right now.” What’s up with that? Denial?

  9. Aunt Marilyn:
Try some Magnesium. Get a good quality Magnesium supplement and try it for a few months. Take it when you have spasms and it hopefully will help.
I have a neighbor who gets severe back spasms and her doctor told her to supplement with Magnesium daily and it has helped her.

  10. Jules:
Do you have a chutes and ladders board game?
I only have candyland. I thought if we brought some board games that could entertain the kids. Ian loves checkers and other board games.
    Let me know.

  11. Jules:
    You are ignoring my questions!!!!

  12. Ha! I read this earlier but got distracted before I had a chance to answer and then I forgot. Is that an ok excuse?!!!

All our board games got trashed because of broken and missing pieces etc. I did buy the girls something called Hullabulla (sp?) for christmas. It’s one of those neat Cranium games. It looks like a lot of fun and I thought I’d bring it. I’m not sure if there will be enough room though. We’ll see.
