our country girl

I’ve resisted all week, but I feel a compulsion to post this pic of Jessica. I really adore it. She’s our horse lovin, country music listening, girl. She asked me the other day if the cows with brown spots are the ones that make chocolate milk! She was embarrassed when I giggled but she was so serious about it. It was so cute.

  1. Why not, such a beautiful little lady!!!!!!!!!
No studio could capture her like you can and did. Aunt Tootsie

  2. I told Karen yesterday that a studio couldn’t have captured her better. We have been swinging on that swing together since she was 4 months old.

  3. Gorgeous! Since we’ve got such a good camera and the computer, I don’t do studio shots anymore either–the shots I get of the boys captures the REAL them; the real smiles; their real selves shine through. I think it captures the love in their faces in a way that a stranger/photographer in a studio cannot.
You should blow this picture up and frame it–definitely a keeper along with several of the other pictures you’ve posted of the girls.

  4. I think I’ll take a disk to the picture center at Wal-mart and get some enlargements!

  5. Is that a water jug in the background? LOL, just kidding! I see James couldn’t be persuaded to photoshop that out for you! It actually doesn’t take anything away from the picture at all. Very cute picture!

  6. Yeah, I think I’ll keep bugging him about that!

  7. What a beauty, what more can I add. I’m glad she belongs in OUR family.

  8. I have much to be thankful for!
