Rose Colored Glasses

I have much to do today, but I wanted to post a little something. I read a quote this morning and it reminded me to live colorfully today.

Your living is determined not so much by what life brings to you as by the attitude you bring to life; not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens. Circumstances and situations do color life, but you…choose what the color will be”.

  1. That is so true. Reminds me of the “all things work together for good…” scripture. So much of what happens to us in life can be used to make us better people. I don’t believe that everything happens to us for a reason…..some things happen to us because we make stupid choices, etc….but with the appropriate attitude we can step back and evaluate things and decide what where we go from here. That’s hard to do sometimes! :)

  2. I love your blog. I was at stainless steel droppings and saw this link and thought, “hum, I don’t think I have every checked this one out.” I started reading & saw James’ name and immediately knew this was your blog. What a great idea!!

  3. Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things. Philippian 4:8

  4. I love that translation, Julie. Is it the Message, by any chance?
