The girls replanted their Chia heads. James thinks they’re creepy!

  4. Hope you left the camera with the kids. hehe

  5. I’m with James on this one! And have to somewhat question the sanity of allowing small children to indulge in the chia pet madness.

  6. I agree with Carl and Jimmy. Kinda weird, those chia pets. Have fun, you crazy kids. 😀

  7. I don’t know. I think they are a little weird, but as a kid I really wanted one. I used to look at the commercial and consider purchasing one, but I was too much of a miser! It would have taken several weeks worth of allowance once you threw in shipping and handling. :o)

  8. I think Taz looks great! The other two that are just heads look pretty darn silly…

I can’t believe I just wrote a line defending a Tazmania Devil Chia pet.

  9. CH,ch, ch, Chia!
    Ch,ch,ch Chia!

  10. I didn’t know there was such a thing. I’ll pass.

  11. Mom, where’ve you been for the past 20 years–not heard of Chia pets?! Obviously doing something more productive than watching TV!!

Thanks, Rustee, now I’ve got that silly ad jingle in my head–ch ch ch chia

I agree with James–they’re kinda creepy. Although they might be fun to clip their hair into funky hairstyles! Daffy might look cool with a mohawk!

  12. Ha! Daffy does have a mohawk in the front, you just can’t see it. For some reason the seeds failed there.

These silly things make great little gifts for young kids. They start two sprout day two. Janet gave them to the girls for Christmas a couple of years ago. It’s the gift that keeps on giving (as long as you have seeds).

  13. Well, I see you’re back. You decided not to fill us in on your mystery trip?! OK, I guess it’s alright to keep SOME parts of your life private! Just this once!!!! (grin)
Actually, I hope y’all had a great time of relaxing, refreshing, and rediscovering just having fun together.
